Kota: According to police, a 36-year-old man died from his injuries on Friday in a hospital after being attacked by several men in the Sangod Police Station area of this district for allegedly picking mangoes from a field.
In connection with the killing that took place on Thursday afternoon, the police have filed a murder complaint against four to five identified residents of the Rolana village.

The casualty was recognized as Suraj Karan Meena. On Friday, his postmortem was completed.

Mahavir, Meena’s neighbor, claimed to have been present during the alleged assault and claimed to have been killed by being beaten with sticks.

Meena, an occupant of Vinodkalan town in Kota locale, endeavored to cull mangoes from a tree of a field possessed by one Nandlal Bairwa. Meena, who was with two of his neighbors, had a warmed trade with Bairwa.

Later, between five and six people took Meena to Rolana on two motorcycles. Meena was severely injured as they beat him with sticks, causing him to faint.

Meena was taken to a nearby hospital after the village sarpanch informed the police of the situation. Meena was referred to Kota’s MBS hospital after receiving primary care, where he passed away on Friday morning.
